Dear Partner,

The Lord has been stirring me up in the last month about “The Blessing”. I want to stir you up along with me. I see something we may have been missing when it comes to “The Blessing”. First of all, it’s not a sneeze. Let us not let the world confuse us from the truth.

If the devil knows he can’t stop something, he will try to confuse the meaning of it, so that being said; let’s begin by looking at some very important scriptures. Let’s look at Proverb 10:22. The blessing of the Lord, it makes us rich and adds no sorrow with it. Did you notice that the scripture said He (God), adds no sorrow with it? Why is this so important? Because the scripture plainly tell us that He (God) adds no sorrow. The word sorrow means: pain, hurt, & grief.

So, “The Blessing” has the power to remove all sorrow. What we need to know is what is “The Blessing”, and how can we get it to operate in our life.

1) The Blessing is an empowerment of words spoken or released over the life of the believer.

2) The Blessing has to be activated by faith in the words that are spoken.

3)     The Blessing cannot be stopped, contained, limited, or altered in the life of all those who operate in obedience.

Did you notice in number one, “The Blessing” has to be released and believed, number two, it has to be activated, and number three, obedience to what is being said. Let’s look at some more scriptures. Genesis 28:1 And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.

Genesis 28: 2 – “Arise, go to Padan-aram, to the house of Bethuel they mother’s father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughters of Laban thy mother’s brother”.

Genesis 49: 1 – “And Jacob called his sons, and said, gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days”.

Genesis 49:2 – “Gather yourselves together and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father”.

Did you see how Isaac and Jacob in each chapter released “The Blessing” by what they said over their children? They believed once it had been spoken, it was so. They had faith in the words that they spoke over them.

Now let us take a look at Genesis 26:12, “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him”. Genesis 26:13, “And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great”.

How did Isaac become very great? Genesis 26:2 tell us that the Lord appeared unto him and said (spoke) to him and gave him specific instructions what to do, and he obeyed.

Because of Isaac’s obedience, he caused “The Blessing” to operate in his life. This same blessing can operate in the lives of the believer, when you act in obedience to the Word spoken over you. This is why “The Blessing” cannot be stopped, contained, limited, or altered in the life of all those who operate in obedience.

The bible tell us in Genesis 26:14, that Isaac had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

That is “The Blessing” in operation, and it belongs to us too!

Praise God!
